“Herb Salon on the MOVE!” takes one of our favorite long-time offerings (Herb Salon) to the streets! In this series of urban plant sits, we will get to know our botanical neighbors by highlighting one local plant and discuss their many virtues. We may also help to develop relationship through experiencing flower essence, herbal extracts, and plant meditations.
Sharing my relationship with herbs and the potential they hold for deep personal healing, is one of my favorite expressions of my love for the botanical world.
Yerba Nomadica workshops facilitate intimate connections with plants and place. Through playful and reciprocal work with las yerbas (herbs), we will explore the practical use of herbal medicines while expanding our awareness of ecological sentience.
Yerba Nomadica classes are regularly offered at the Tucson Herb Store in addition to elsewhere throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona. I have been honored to lead seasonal workshops at Borderlands Restoration Project in Patagonia, Arizona and to have been invited to share plant medicine knowledge with the University of Arizona’s School of Integrative Medicine.
