Rooted Care Shaped by Lineage and Land.

As an associate level clinical Social Worker (LMSW), Carla’s practice integrates mental health services with land based therapies through a liberation psychology and trauma-informed framework. Her approach honors individual, collective, and ancestral well-being through psychotherapy, therapeutic art-making and somatic oriented practices, grounded in a critical consciousness of the effects of structural violence and social inequity.

Additionally, Carla runs an herbal practice that encourages individuals to build personal & reciprocal relationships with plant medicine and the land they stand on. As a clinically trained herbalist, she offers herbal consultations, educational plant offerings, and herbal mutual aid in Tucson, Arizona. Occasionally, Yerba Nomadica releases small batch limited run apothecary remedios available locally & in the Tiendita.
